Efforts to be made for air network expansion

POKHARA: The Pokhara Tourism Council (PTC) has planned to expand air connectivity in Nepal.

At a concluding function of a promotional visit of North-East India held on Sunday, PTC Chair Chiranjivi Pokharel suggested that Indian tourism entrepreneurs make Nepal's air service further effective.

Keeping in mind the complaints lodged by tourism entrepreneurs from the surrounding area of Nepal-India border atĀ Kakarbhitta regarding lack of direct flight from Chandragadhi Airport to Pokhara, Pokharel said efforts would be initiated to establish direct connectivity from Bhadrapur to Pokhara.

On the occasion, Pokharel and senior tourism entrepreneur Ganesh Bahadur Bhattarai handed over the certificate of participation to team members of the tour.
