Siraha, November 22:

Police arrested eight cadres of the Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha-Goit (JTMM-G) from Majhauliya-3 of Siraha last evening.

A team of Armed Police Force (APF) personnel led from the Dantakali Battalion arrested them, along with arms, while they were planning for a robbery. The arrested activists are Pramod Kumar Yadav of Chandra Ayodhyapur-8; Mohamad Irsad, Jwala Prasad Yadav and Suman Shrestha of Chandralalpur -2; Sikandar Yadav and Ram Prakash Yadav of Siraha and Jamuna Yadav and Rajesh Yadav of Dhanusha, said SP Prahlad KC.

The police also seized a pistol, few bullets, firecrackers and a khukuri from them.
