The whereabouts of an elderly woman who had left home with an unknown person a week ago in Golbazaar of Siraha still remain unknown.

According to the sources, fifty-five-year-old Kari Devi Yadav of Golbazaar Municipality-10, had left home on a bike of an unknown person last Friday.

“At the time the man arrived, she was busy preparing dinner. She left home, saying she would return soon but has not arrived yet. We even don’t know her whereabouts. I didn’t notice and number and the colour of the two-wheeler, either,” said her sister-in-law regretted Bibha Devi.

Kari Devi lived alone next to her in-law’s house. She lost her husband soon after they got married. She didn’t have any child.

“She had filed a case over the land against her brother in-law Ram Dev and the district court had given the verdict in her favour. Following the court order, she was provided with a land plot for residential purpose, along with 12 kattha land,” shared Bibha Devi.

“We searched her at all possible places and informed all relatives. As nobody has any information about her whereabouts, we also reported the incident to police,” said Laxman, Bibha Devi’s husband.
