RAMPUR: Happiness of local residents of Juthapauwa VDC know no bound after the locality has been illuminated recently.

Electricity has reached the villages of the VDC ward No 6 and 7 on the initiatives of the constituent area development technicians of the district branch of Nepal Electricity Authority and locals.

The constituent area development provided approximately Rs 1.4 million for the project while local people contributed free labour for 27 days, said the electricity consumers' committee member Dan Bahadur Raskoti.

Electricity service has helped the locals in numerous ways. For instance, the Guharthana Secondary School in the locality will operate computer classes for its 350 students with the advent of electricity, said the school teacher.
