Electronic attendance to be installed in Bhojpur municipal schools

BHOJPUR: Bhojpur Municipality will be installing electronic attendance system in schools of the municipality.

The municipality took a decision to this effect after the attendance of staff in government schools was not found to be managed properly, which was revealed during a monitoring carried out of the municipal schools.

According to the mayor of Bhojpur Municipality, Kailash Kumar Ale, efforts will be made towards installation of electronic attendance system in 44 secondary schools and some primary schools in 12 wards of the municipality to manage the attendance of teachers, which will improve the quality of education in the schools.

A team including Mayor Ale who has also remained the chair of municipal education committee, chief of the district education coordination committee Maan Bahadur Devkota, school source person Dhruva Raj Regmi, among others are currently involved in monitoring the government schools.

Some of the aspects taken into account during the monitoring are status of education, infrastructure, teaching staff, and students among others.
