Dang, September 7:

Encephalitis has claimed four persons in Dang within the last 20 days.

Mahindra Shah, 84, of Tribhuvannagar Municipality died today and became the latest victim

of the disease.

Earlier, Mangali BK, 65, of Tribhuvannagar Municipality-5 had died on August 3, Muga Roka of the same place had died on August 27 while undergoing treatment at the district hospital and 54-year-old Chuma Nepali of Tribhuvannagar-1 died on August 17.

Four encephalitis patients are undergoing treatment, while seven persons have returned home after treatment at the district hospital.
