Entrepreneurs still to get back their buses

Bardiya, August 14:

Bus entrepreneurs are facing a tough time as the Royal Nepalese Army is yet to return their buses which were seized by the RNA some one-and-a-half month ago. The entrepreneurs had already requested the RNA to return their vehicles, but in vain. The security forces had seized the buses as the entrepreneurs had helped the Maoists carry the bodies of their dead cadres, as well as those who were injured in the clash between the security forces and the Maoists on June 24. The eight seized buses are kept at the Gulariya-based Army Company. The Maoists had forcibly taken the buses under their control from Belwa Chowk, Bardiya,

on June 24. “We had informed the security forces about the incident, but the forces seized the buses of those very entrepreneurs who had informed the RNA. They are having to bear great loss,” a bus entrepreneur lamented.
