‘Entrepreneurs’ support needed for prosperity’

Renowned entrepreneur and Nepali Congress leader Binod Chaudhary expressed confidence that the socio-economic development outline drafted by the Nepali Congress would determine the country’s prosperity.

Speaking at a mass gathering of entrepreneurs and industrialists, in Butwal, today, he stressed the need of support from entrepreneurs to strengthen the country’s prosperity. He said the state required to create conducive environment and provide fundamental infrastructure for the private sector to invest in trade and business.  He also said the state could introduce the policy of clearing tax payment in different easy systems to lure new investors.

Chaudhary demanded that the private sector meet certain criteria of job and the state needed to provide cash incentive to such entrepreneurs at the time of establishment. “If we can do so, we can create job opportunities for hundreds of thousands of youths and those who have been abroad for jobs will also return to their native land, which will contribute a lot to the country’s prosperity,” he said.

Chaudhary said economy of a country could not be imagined without democracy. “Robust economy is possible only in democracy. I will do my best and the same can be said of the Nepali Congress for the country’s prosperity,” he said.
