Palpa, December 11:

Nepali Congress (NC) central member Man Mohan Bhattarai today said that those believers of rule of law have to oust the king legally.

Addressing a mass meet organised by the NC at Rampur Bejhad, he said, “Decision on ousting the king should be taken through the people’s mandate.” Speaking on the occasion, former general secretary of Nepal Students’ Union and student leader, Gagan Thapa, said that leaders willing to oust the king should also be ready to take their own risks.

“If leaders want to take their old stands, change in the nation can’t happen even after ousting the king,” he said.

Thapa blamed the Maoist for only taking care of its People Liberation Army, extending party organisation and playing political games.
