Pandit admits 25 children in school

Federal Affairs and General Administration Minister Lal Babu Pandit enrolled 25 students in school under the government’s student enrolment campaign.

Minister Pandit took up the guardianship of more than two dozen school kids in his own constituency today. He admitted those students in BP Primary School at Budhiganga Rural Municipality in Morang, besides offering shoes, bags and uniforms to over 200 students of the school.

Likewise, Social Development Minister Jeeban Ghimire of Province 1 admitted as many as 35 kids at Janata Secondary School located at Katahari Rural Municipality in Morang today. Students enrolment campaign has been intensified with the new academic session.

The local levels of Morang had carried out publicity related to the enrolment campaign during Siruwa fair held on the occasion of the New Year.

District Education Development and Coordination Unit Chief Dinanath Puri said they had intensified the enrolment campaign to ensure access to children who were out of school education in the district. Around five per cent children in the district have been deprived of school education in Morang.
