Film board chief hurt in jeep accident

Tanahun, October 23:

Seven persons were injured, five seriously, when a jeep belonging to the National Film Development Board fell off the Prithvi Highway near the Akal Temple in Manapang 2 this afternoon, the Tanahun District Police Office said.

According to the police, president of the NFDB Ishori Chandra Gyawali, Sri Lankan nationals Roshan and Nabin Gunaratne, jeep driver Madhusudhan Rijali and Shibaji Lamichhane were hurt in the incident.

The critically injured are undergoing treatment in the Pokhara-based Western Regional Hospital. Anupam Niraula and Aastejan, who sustained minor injuries, have been discharged after first aid.
