Five accused of murder jailed

Syangja District Court today sent five persons arrested on the charge of murdering a youth of Harinash Rural Municipality to prison until the final verdict.

A single bench of district judge Ramnath Poudel sent five persons out of 13 arrested on the charge of killing Mahendra Ale, 29 on October 9 to jail. The judge sent two juveniles to a rehabilitation centre and one was handed over to his parents. Five were freed on general date.

Ale was killed in a clash between youths after a motorbike and a jeep collided at Balikot of Harinash Rural Municipality-5 on October 9.

Murder-accused Naresh Manandhar, Matrika Manandhar, Bimal Manandhar, Nam Narayan Manandhar and Nabin Manandhar have been sent to prison until the final court verdict. Roshan Manandhar, Chutri Manandhar, Dil Narayan Manandhar, Min Bahadur Rana and Prakash Manandhar were released on general date.
