Tanahun, October 25:

Five persons were hurt, three critically, in a clash between two groups of youths from Dulegaunda and Kotre villages yesterday evening. Three youths of Dulegaunda and two of Kotre were injured in the incident. The groups clashed in a dance party in Kotre two days ago, police said.

Eighteen-year-old Shanish Gurung, 25-year-old Devendra Pun and 24-year-old Deven Thapa of Dulegaunda VDC- 2 sustained serious injuries, while two residents of Kotre village were slightly injured, police inspector in area police office Belchautara, Khadak Khatri, said. Shanish and Devendra are undergoing treatment in Manipal teaching hospital, while Deven is undergoing treatment in Pokhara.
