Five wounded in leopard attack
KASKI: A leopard attack left five people injured in a Tibetan refugee camp in Hemja Kaski, on Friday morning.
The injured are being treated at the local Manipal Teaching Hospital. Among them, Tashi Lama is in a critical condition, due to a deep head wound he suffered during the attack.
Around 6 am the leopard started attacking people after entering the camp. It was initially spotted inside the camp at 5:30 am and chased away by people. But it returned and started attacking people. Later on the locals were able to lock the leopard inside a toilet. The incident ended when the leopard was shot dead by the police.
