BAGLUNG: Property worth around Rs 10 million was gutted when a food manufacturing factory caught fire in Baglung district on Monday night.

Factory owner Yam Prasad Kandel said that machines, raw materials and cash were destroyed by the fire.

The factory closed at 7:00 pm and they came to know about the incident only at midnight, informed Kandel.

The fire was controlled on Tuesday morning only, although the Nepalese Army, Nepal Police and locals had took initiative to bring the fire under control from the Monday night.

Reason behind the fire has yet to be ascertained, informed police.
