POKHARA:  A house was swept away while around two dozen households are put on a high risk by a flood in local Phusre Khola at Phedi, Deurali VDC-2 in Kaski district on Saturday.

The house belonging to Ran Bahadur Gurung was fully destroyed after being swept away by the flood, said Inspector Mitra Acharya of Sisuwa Police Office, Lekhanath.

The flood has also made damage to few other houses.

Police are trying to normalise the situation, informed Acharya.
