FM Gyawali lands in Janakpur to oversee Modi-visit preps

KATHMANDU: Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali has landed in Janakpur today to oversee on going preparations for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit on May 11. The Indian PM will begin his two-day Nepal visit from the historic and religious city of Janakpur.

Gyawali was accompanied by Ambassador of India to Nepal, Manjeev Singh Puri in the flight to Janakpur in a Nepali Army helicopter.

The official Twitter handle of the Indian Embassy tweeted about the visit this afternoon.
