Khotang, June 15

The Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry Khotang chapter today drew the attention of Nepal Electricity Authority against erratic and irregular power supply in the district.

FNCCI Khotang chapter submitted a memo stating that erratic power flow had badly affected the lives of local residents. FNNCI also accused the NEA of not taking any initiative to improve the supply system.

Rajendra Layalu, chairman of FNCCI Khotang, warned of agitation if the supply remained irregular.

Power supply has been erratic in the district for the past two months. FNCCI Khotang General Secretary Samundra Prasad Joshi said the supply was erratic despite upgradation of the 11 KV capacity Diktel-Gaighat hydel into 33 KV.
