Focus is consensus than government, claims Dahal

BIRENDRANAGAR: CPN Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal said parties should focus on forging national consensus rather than bringing down the government.

During a press conference organised here today, Chairman Dahal said his party had been very flexible to forge consensus as it should a priority in the national polices, he argued.

Chairman Dahal arrived here to address the unity gathering of his party in Province Six.

According to him, national consensus was essential to address the burning issues of the country including problems facing Tharu and Madhesi communities as well as issues about reconstruction activities and development works.

Leader Dahal, meanwhile, argued that the Madhesi political parties would soon forge an agreement with the government, giving an end to the protests.
