Foreign Minister Gyawali holds talks with his Indian counterpart

NEW YORK: Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali held a meeting with Minister of External Affairs of India, Sushma Swaraj, at the UN headquarters in New York today.

Discussions were held on matters of bilateral concern and interest during the meeting.

Foreign Secretary Shanker Das Bairagi said, it was agreed during the talks to further expedite development projects being operated as per the bilateral agreement reached between the two neighbouring countries before this.

Present on the occasion were Foreign Secretary Bairagi and other senior government officials of Nepal.

The two ministers are in New York to attend the 73rd General Assembly of the United Nations (UNGA 73). The 73rd session of UNGA opened on September 18 and the high-level General Debate will commence today.
