Foreign Minister Mahat leaving for India on Wednesday
KATHMANDU: Minister for Foreign Affairs Prakash Sharan Mahat is scheduled to leave for the Indian capital New Delhi on Wednesday to take part in the 4th Nepal-India Joint Commission meeting, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
Minister Mahat would be attending the meeting as the co-chair alongside Minister for External Affairs of India Sushma Swaraj on October 27, according to a statement issued by MoFA on Tuesday.
The meeting would review the bilateral issues between Nepal and India.
The Nepali delegation also includes Foreign Secretary Shanker Das Bairagi and other senior government officials.
Minister Mahat is scheduled to return home on October 28.
