KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has, on the recommendation of the government, appointed two new ministers in the Nepal Communist Party (NCP)-led government on Friday.

Upendra Yadav (Minister for Health and Population) and Mohammed Ishtiyak Rai (Minister for Urban Development) of Federal Socialist Forum Nepal have been appointed by President Bhandari.

President Bhandari appointed them to the posts as per Article 76 (9) of the Constitution of Nepal.
