RAUTAHAT: Four youth died in an road accident at Balchanpur Chok of Rautahat district along the Gaur-Chandranigahapur road section, on Tuesday  morning.

According to District Police Office, Rautahat, the incident occurred when a motorcycle (Na 33 Pa 2068) collided with a mini truck (Na 5 Kha 9791) coming from the opposite direction.

Police further said the four youth, who were riding on the single motorcycle, had died on the spot.

The motorcycle was heading towards Gaur from Chandranigahapur.

The deceased have been identified as Bibek Singh (23), Kamod Singh (23) Jay Prakash Yadav (25) of Aauraiya VDC and Rupesh Kumar Yadav (26) of Sakhuwa Dhamaura VDC.

DSP Rajendra Pokharel informed that the driver was on the run while leaving the mini truck on the spot, after the incident.

Further investigation regarding the case is underway, informed police.
