GAUSHALA, MAHOTTARI: Police have arrested four persons including the Janakpur Zonal Bureau Chief of Netra Bikram Chand-led CPN Maoist in possession of bomb making materials from Bardibas in Mahottari district on Sunday.

SP Raj Kumar Lamsal at Bardibas Area Police Office said that a patrol team mobilised from the Office arrested Chief Sandesh Poudel, and  Mithila Chauhan, among others and seized the components.

Police confiscated a watch to make time bomb, six detonators, map of Mahottari district, pamphlets reading scrap the local level elections and 200 stickers of Nepali Congress.

The District Police Office would inform about the arrest by organising a press conference today, it has been learnt
