BIRGUNJ: Police arrested four Indian nationals in possession of 89-kilogram hashish from Dryport area in Birgunj Metropolis-25, on Tuesday.

Police apprehended the alleged drug smugglers while they were trying to smuggle a huge cache of contraband hiding inside a Bolero jeep (BR28G 2770) via Nepal-India border in Bara district today.

District Police Office, Bara, identified the arrestees as Nur Mohammed Hussai of Bisunpur-3, Aslam Alam Sain of Fulbariya-11, Irshad Sain and Sunil Sah of Sitalpati in Motihari district of Bihar state.

Meanwhile, further investigation is underway, police said.
