4 youths arrested for slaughtering ox in Pokhara
POKHARA: Police on Thursday arrested four persons on the charge of slaughtering an ox from Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolitan City-21 in Kaski district.
Police arrested Madan Pariyar (29), Suwas Pariyar (26), Pravin Nepali (18) and Nawaraj Pariyar (27), all the local residents for slaughtering and consuming the two-year-old ox belonging to the local Gopal Pariyar.
Further investigation into the case is underway, informed the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Khadga Bahadur Khatri,at the Kaski District Police Office.
Earlier, police had arrested three persons on charge of killing cow for its meat from Pumdibhumdi in the district.
