Fourth Dhading accident victim not identified yet

Police have yet to establish identify of the fourth person, who died in an accident in Dhading, on Thursday evening.

On Thursday, three pedestrians died on the spot and an on-duty police constable was injured and later died in course of treatment when a speeding tipper hit a parked micro-bus on the roadside and overturned at Thakre-3, Mahadevsthan.

Among the deceased, two of the pedestrians have been identified as Sundar Bhattarai of Syangja, Jagatdevi and Naresh Lama of Chitwan. Similarly, head constable Shudarshan Humagain is the third victim, who breathed his last during treatment at Kathmandu-based Grande Hospital. The fourth, victim, yet other pedestrian has yet to be identified.

Humagain was serving at the Mahadevbesi-based police post. Similarly, Niroj Ram, 26, of Bara, tipper driver Lila Bahadur Tamang of Dhading, Kewalpur and Dinesh Aryal of Thakre and Narayan Sunam of Makawanpur, Hetauda were injured in the accident.

They are undergoing treatment at different hospitals in the captial.
