Free health camp

Kathmandu, August 30:

Altogether 100 patients benefited from a free health camp organised here yesterday.

Five specialist doctors from the AMRI Hospital, Kolkata, attended to patients at the camp. The health camp was organised under the aegis of the Advanced Poly Clinic, the Sarwanga Swastha Sadan and the AMRI Hospital.

Issuing a press statement here today, the Advanced Poly Clinic said that the health camp

was organised to provide specialised health services to the needy. Dr Denis Shrestha, MD of the

Advanced Poly Clinic, said their move was part of corporate social responsibility. This was “the first time in the country” that saw specialist doctors coming together to provide free consultation at a single health camp, the press release stated.

Those attending the camps were cardiologist Dr KM Mandana, nephrologist Ranjan Sarkar (nephrology), Endocrinologist Dr Binayak Sinha, gynaecologist Dr Pranab Dasgupta and oncologist Dr Gautam Mukhopadhyay.
