Free health service scheme

Kathmandu, July 19:

The Ministry of Health and Population will provide free health services in 25 districts with low Human Development Index by July 31 and has allocated Rs 210 million for the programme.

Arjun Bahadur Singh, spokesperson, MoHP, said free health services will cover emergency services, indoor and OPD services.

The 25 districts are: Mugu, Bajura, Kalikot, Bhajang, Jagarkot, Jumla, Accham, Humla, Dolpa, Dailekh, Rolpa, Rukum, Baitadi, Rasuwa, Salyan, Doti, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Dang, Rautahat, Dhading, Sindhupalchowk, Pyuthan, Darchula and Siraha.
