Free orthopaedic camp benefits 180 people in Panchthar

PANCHTHAR: Around 180 people availed themselves of free services at an orthopaedic camp set up at the District Hospital, Panchthar.

People from various VDCs in Panchthar, as well as the neighbouring districts of Taplejung and Terhathum benefitted from the camp.

The camp was organised by the Panchthar District Hospital, in association with the Himali Health and Education, Solukhumbu and the Lions Club.

Likewise, dental patients are also being treated at the camp. Dr Mingma Sherpa, said that 12 orthopaedic operations have been carried out at the camp.

"It is the third free treatment health camp organised in a remote place in the district."
