BAITADI: A fresh earthquake, of local magnitude 4.2 jolted Darchula district at 5:50 on Monday, according to Regional Seismological Centre, Surkhet.

The quake had its epicentre in India, some 44 kilometres northwest of Darchula, the Centre said. Darchula district is at high risk of earthquake.

No loss of life and property was reported in the district, according to the District Police Office, Darchula.
