BIRATNAGAR: A man, who on the run for the past five years and convicted in a dacoity case, has been arrested from Sunsari.

A team of regional investigation bureau arrested Subash Dahal from his house in Itahari – 12, the Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar said.

The Appellate Court, Biratnagar on May 3, 2011 had sentenced Dahal to six years in prison and slapped a fine of Rs 102,750.

The fugitive has been sent to the Morang prison to serve his sentence.
