BHAIRAHAWA: Deputy Prime Minister Bijaya Kumar Gachhadar has termed the Upendra Yadav-led Madhesi Janadhikar Forum "an NGO run by foreigners".

Addressing a mass meet organised by Madhesi Janadhikar Forum-Democratic in Bhairahawa today, MJF-D president Gachhadar accused the UCPN-Maoist of trying to worsen the country’s situation by obstructing the parliament.

He cast doubt over the kind of democratic system the Maoists wanted to bring in and said, "The Maoists' planned agitation is merely a ploy to capture the state power."
