Gachhadar was a virus in the party: Yadav

ITAHARI: Upendra Yadav, Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum's chairman today lambasted the UCPN-Maoist for the continual disruption of the House but warned that his party, together with the UCPN-Maoist would launch an agitation which he envisaged would have a devastating effect on life and property in the nation.

Talking to mediapersons in Inaruwa, Yadav said, "Although parties have a share in the disruptions of the House, the UCPN-Maoist is the major culprit to blame for."

He envisaged that the disruptions of the House and the inability to pass the budget could push the country to further economic turmoil.

Yadav also criticised the leaders in the coalition government as 'defeated ones' in the Constituent Assembly elections. “The losers cannot draft the constitution," Yadav said, underscoring the need for a national government.

Yadav, who came down heavily on Deputy Prime Minister Bijay Kumar Gachhadar, said, " He (Gachhadar) is a virus in the party. That's why he left it. It was a good act. There is no harm in the party even as he deserted."

He added saying that his party has maintained even stringer hold in the Tarai after Gachhadar left the party.
