JAJARKOT: An examinee at the Saraswati Higher Secondary School, School Leaving Certificate (SLC) exam centre, in Sima VDC of the district delivered a baby on Sunday.

Gita Buda was writing her exam paper of mathematics when she began having labour pains an hour later, Shatrughan Prasad Chaudhary, superintendent of the exam centre said.

Later, Buda was moved to a safe place in the premises of the school and she delivered a baby girl, he added.
