BHOJPUR: A girl was injured due to electric shock in Sungnam of Morang district on Friday evening.

According to Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar, seriously injured Srijana Timsina (22) is receiving treatment at the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan.

Timisina was returning to her home from a field when she stepped on a naked wire of a fallen electric pole at around 6 pm yesterday, police informed.
