Kathmandu, November 26:

Preparations are on for the Second International Tamang Conference to be held from December 15 to 18 in the district of Darjeeling in India’s West Bengal state, a press release issued here today by the International Tamang Council (ITC), stated. Several committees were formed during a meeting held in Kathmandu recently.

The conference will be organised by the world Tamang council in coordination with the Indian Tamang Bouddha Association. The ITC has appealed to all Tamangs residing all over the world to take part in the conference. Organisers have expected some 50,000 people belonging

to the Tamang community from 12 different countries to take part in the conference.
