Gorkha earthquake's ML-4.1 aftershock hits Rasuwa

KATHMANDU: A light tremor was felt in Rasuwa district of central Nepal on Saturday, which the National Seismological Centre listed as yet another aftershock of the 2015 Gorkha earthquake.

According to the NSC, the tremor measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale was felt at 6:22 pm today with its epicentre (28.04ºN and 85.17ºE) in Thulogaun of Rasuwa district.

Earlier, on October 12, the NSC had recorded a tremor of magnitude-4.1 with its epicentre between Lankuridanda and Phusapheda in Dolakha district.

The NSC has so far alerted members of the public about around 470 significant aftershocks since the devastating quake on April 25, 2015.
