Government offices resume service

KATHMANDU: Government offices that remained closed during the Bada Dashain festival resumed service from today onwards.

The public waiting for service have breathed a sigh of relief after the government offices opened following a six-day Dashain holiday.

Around 100,000 people have been entering the Kathmandu Valley on a daily basis from the day of Vijaya Dashami, according to the Federation of Nepalese National Transport Entrepreneurs.

The Metropolitan Traffic Police Division (MTPD) said that the vehicular movement within the Valley is normal.
