‘Government wants development’

HETAUDA: Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister for Foreign Affairs Kamal Thapa on Saturday said the government was committed to development and prosperity of the country. Speaking at a function organised to mark the 21st Annual General Meeting of Narayani Transportation Entrepreneurs Association in Hetauda on Saturday, Minister Thapa claimed that the government was preparing various plans for development. DPM Thapa said politicians should not put the sovereignty of the country at risk to serve their vested interests. Legislators Indra Prasad Baniya, Ananta Prasad Poudel and Ram Narayan Bidari, among others, expressed also their views at the function.
