Govt formation process not to MJF’s liking

Kathmandu, May 26:

Coordinator of Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum Upendra Yadav today said all the 25 parties in the Constituent Assembly should be included in the process of forming the next government to make it a true unity government.

“Earlier, it was a seven-party hegemony now it is a three-party (Nepali Congress, CPN-UML and CPN-Maoist) dictatorship,” he said, adding: “None of the parties had officially sought their help for the formation of the government.”

Yadav also objected to the idea of dividing 26 CA seats among the major parties. The council of ministers is supposed to nominate 26 people from left out Janajati communities and popular personalities from different walks of life, he said.

“I heard only through the media that seats were allocated to different parties. We strongly objected to this idea. These nominations should be done on a purely professional basis,” he said.
