Bhairahawa, October 6

Minister of Industry, Commerce and Supplies Matrika Parasad Yadav today said the government was ready to collaborate with private sector industrialists and entrepreneurs for the country’s industrial development.

Addressing a programme  in Butwal, Minister Yadav said the government was ready to work with industrialists and entrepreneurs  to amend industrial laws to expedite industrial growth. “I am ready to sign laws as suggested by the private sector for industrial development,” he added.

Yadav argued that the country could not develop by selling labour in foreign countries. He stated that the incumbent government should not be blamed for deteriorating industrial environment. Minister Yadav said, “The government has increased the customs duty on the import of sugar by 30 per cent to promote Nepali sugar industries,” Yadav clarified.
