Gurung stresses unity among all

Pokhara, May 14

CPN-UML Secretary Prithvi Subba Gurung today stressed on the need for unity among various forces in the country.

Addressing a gathering of Nepal National Tourism Entrepreneurs’ Association in Constituency-4 of Kaski, Gurung argued that lack of unity between national forces had invited foreign meddling. “Foreign intervention is increasing as  leaders are becoming weak,” he added.

Claiming that foreign powers had a hand even in the making and unmaking of governments in Nepal, he said if Nepali leaders stood their ground no international power could change the government.

Stating that the incumbent government had made efforts to stop foreign meddling in Nepal’s internal affairs, he claimed that foreign powers had hatched a plot to prevent promulgation of the new statute and to topple the government.
