Help desk established

District Police Office, Bhojpur, has set up passengers’ help desk at Deurali Chowk of Bhojpur Municipality to provide correct information to passengers during festivals.

The DPO said the help desk would assist passengers with prompt response and address their problems. DSP Keshav Kumar Thebe at DPO said the passengers could take help from the desk if their belongings were lost or exchanged or more fare was charged, or if they were misbehaved with under any pretext.

“Police patrolling in rural areas and security checks, among others, were being carried out more effectively,” he added. Similarly, it has also been made mandatory for drivers of public vehicles to wear shoes.
