KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives on Tuesday unanimously adopted a proposal presented by the government seeking endorsement of the Treaty Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC). After holding discussions on the proposal presented by the Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Amik Sherchan, the House unanimously adopted the proposal. The speaker of the House, Subas Nembang, declared that the House adopted the proposal as no MPs had cast votes against the same.
