HSEB to pull back quota teachers

Bajura, August 22

Higher Secondary Education Board is all set to withdraw quota teachers from different schools as they failed to meet the necessary criteria in Bajura.

As the schools could not enroll the required number of students as per the policy, the facility of quota teachers is most likely to be cancelled. The government provides at least four teachers for schools that enroll at least 15 students in grade XI and XII and the students are required to appear in the board examination for at least two years.

The government had allocated 64 teachers, 21 permanent and 43 on grant, for the district. There are 18 higher secondary schools. Of them, two are yet to appear in the board examinations for the second time. The number of students is too negligible in 11 schools.
