LAMJUNG: The 50 KW Peche Khola Hydropower project, which was completely damaged due to the April 25 earthquake, has come into operation following necessary repairs at Dudh Pokhari VDC in Lamjung.

The project was repaired with the initiative of Public Awareness Promotion and Development Study Committee, Lamjung, with financial support of Lutheran World Relief. With the hydel coming into operation, locals have been relieved.

The project was built with Rs 19 million and repaired with fund of Rs 1.4 million.
