"No need to worry. All will be fine soon", PM assuages blast victims

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba today visited the Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital to call on the victims of the Udayapur bomb blast that took place on Wednesday.

In his words of consolation to Meera Katuwal, who lost her leg in the blast, the Prime Minister said," I am here, so don't worry, all will be fine soon."

The Prime Ministry met Narayan Karki, the NC candidate for the House of Representatives election from the Udaupur -2 and other seven injured in the ambush to take the stock of their health condition.

On the occasion, he directed the hospital not to leave any stone unturned in the treatment of the injured.

Karki, NC cadre Katuwal, journalist Nawaraj Poudel, jeep driver Rajan Karki, Dhanamaya Dhaulakoti, Ganesh Puri and policeman Kalidas Shrestha were hurt in the blast targeting the Karki's vehicle.

Meanwhile, Hospital director Deepak Mahara apprised the Prime Minister that the injured are out of life threatening condition.
