IGP Aryal underscores improved police-people relations
BIRATNAGAR: Inspector General of Nepal Police Upendra Kant Aryal said that the cordial relations between people and police would improve law and order situation in society.
Inaugurating the newly-constructed building of the District Police Office in Biratnagar-1 on Thursday, IGP Aryal said the lone efforts of the police force would not be adequate to combat crimes in society.
The crimes would not be checked by constructing many prisons in the country, he asserted, adding police should work to win confidence of people and work for them in a long march to control crimes.
The building of police office was constructed at the total cost of Rs 97.39 million.
