ILAM: A man died after he fell off a cliff at Mahamai in Ilam district on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Miklubir Nembang of Mahamai-6. Nembang fell off the Besare cliff at Phewakhola in the district.

His body was found at the base of the 100-metre-tall cliff.

Nembang's family members had reported him missing since Tuesday.

The body has been taken to the Mechi Zonal Hospital in Bhadrapur for postmortem.
